Tapestry of a thousand thoughts

As the sun wakes up in the sky
He stirs me from where I lie.
A series of mundane steps follow
And I get all ready to allow,
Some exercise for my lazy limbs!

As I climb into the field remote & vast,
I'm drawn to things that dont last;
On blades of grass tiny water droplets shimmer
Like diamonds strewn in an emperor's chest.
For the poor man, bits of hope that glimmer;
But treasures that threaten to fleet, lest
Ever present motives of greed simmer!

In the eyes of the mellow mind lies the scenery,
Evoking evanescently rainbow colors of the moods.
A receptacle for the arrows from the greenery,
Finally, no more than thoughts over which it broods!
